Easy Transitional Fall To Winter Outfit

This time of year is very interesting. The mornings start out freezing and then it really starts to warm up by noon. It makes it very challenging to dress so my favorite my to be fashionable while still working with the temps, is layering. In this outfit I picked one of my favorite mock neck sweaters and paired it with my go to fall jacket. I love this sweater because it's warm and cozy but has a super cute print. It's speckled and has a little bit of tinsel throughout. It's the perfect for the holiday season!

Speaking of the holiday season, I can't get over the fact that Thanksgiving is history and we are finally in the Christmas season. I will have lots of holiday posts coming up (especially fun pictures on Insta!) so I hope you're in the holiday mood.

Let me know if there's anything specific you would like to see!

Fall Beauty Find With Meijer Ft My Boyfriend's Routine

With a new season, comes new beauty products in my routine! Every season I like to change up my haircare and skincare to 1. try out new products and 2. adjust to the new season. I also like to change up my products so my hair/skin continue to improve instead of getting used to what they already know.

Fall is officially here in Ohio and I partnered with Meijer, my ride or die (as you all know), to share with you not only the new products I've been trying but ALSO the new products my boyfriend, Tyler, has been loving! These products are conveniently located at your local Meijer (mine is literally up the road, yasss!) and are very affordable.

Shampoo & Conditioner: Herbal Essences naked volume in the scent white grapefruit and most mint. This scent smells amazing and makes my hair so soft!

Body Wash: Is there anything better then a creamy, moisturizing body wash? This Olay in birch water and lavender does the trick!

Face Wash: Biore baking soda cleanser has been clearing my pores and keeping my skin fresh!

All Time Favorite Haircare Product: It's a 10 miracle leave in is one of my go to hair products. All of the benefits are out of this world!

Body Wash: Old Spice Live wire. This stuff is really hydrating, perfect for the cooler months!

Spray Deodorant: Old Spice invisible spray is the perfect way to spice up your mans routine. The scent is really fresh!

Deodorant: Old Spice stronger swagger is an extra strong deodorant that smells good too.

Face Wash: Tyler had never tried any Bull Dog products before but loved this face scrub! It's made up of aloe, camellia and green tea and is all natural! I loved that!

I hope you enjoyed today's post! Be sure to head to your local Meijer so you can change up your beauty routine for fall too!

Currently Craving: 10 Fall Items From The Old Navy 40% Sale

Let's be honest, there's fashion then there's FALL fashion. I feel ten times more inspired when it comes to fall fashion then any other time of the year. I know I can't be the only one feeling this way. The only issue I run into is that my budget is limited. I can't buy every fall item from ever store. It's a sad, sad story. However, I can purchase a handful of staple pieces I can wear year to year, and that purchase is even easier when it's on sale! Old Navy (one of my fav places for fast fashion) is currently having a 40% off sale of everything! It's the perfect time to stock up on fall essentials before they sell out! I wanted to share with you some of the items on my wishlist from the sale!

Let me know in the comments what you're craving for fall!

Would You Rather With Stacy London | Fall Edition

Hi everyone!

Today I have a very special treat. I am finally sharing with you a secret project I had the opportunity to work on last month with Meijer. As many of you know, I am very fond of Meijer. I worked in their stores during college and grew up buying my groceries there. Recently, they have taken on the challenge of rebranding their Massini clothing line collection and I was asked to participate! Stacy London is the face of the line and she came to the fashion capital of the Midwest, Columbus of course!, to help spread the word. The line is on trend and the items that are in the fall line are to die for! All of the colors, textures and patterns are perfect for fall. Meijer makes it easy to make a statement while still staying on a budget, which I love. I think you're going to adore the new line as much as I do!

The video I'm sharing with you today was a quick glimpse of our day on set. I quizzed Stacy with a handful of fall related questions. Who doesn't love a good game of would you rather!?

If you would like to check out the Meijer collection and see more you can check it out on MeijerStyle!

Thanks Meijer for working with me on this collaboration!

Life Update | June 2017

It has been a hot minute since I have posted on this blog and chatted about what has been happening in my life. Recently, my life has been all over the place. I graduated college from The Ohio State University in May with a degree in Strategic Communications + Fashion/Retail Studies. I LOVED, LOVED my experience in college. I was a transfer student to the Columbus campus, but nonetheless, had an awesome experience. I wish that more of my classes would have been directed towards social media marketing / influencer marketing, however I enjoyed all of my classes.

A few days after graduation, my boyfriend and two of our friends decided to book a flight to Vegas to celebrate. I've been to Vegas before, literally a year before, and knew that it was the perfect destination to celebrate 3 graduations. We had such a fun time and I can't wait to go back. Vegas isn't for everyone however what is better then sunshine, amazing food & people watching?
If you would like to see a Las Vegas travel guide, let me know! I'm obsessed with where we stayed and all of the restaurants we went to (hello a restaurant dedicated to NACHOS!).

So as for now, what am I doing? I've gotten this question a lot and the answer is truly unknown. I've been looking for a job in Columbus however Tyler and I are both willing to relocate (maybe somewhere out west..?). We will see and in the mean time we're enjoying a bit of time we have together and enjoying the summer. We have a handful of weddings and other events coming up and it is so important to be present in those situations!

I hope you're having an awesome start to your summer,
xo Nicole

The Best Face Masks | Tech, Mud & Sheet

I don't know about you, but as the weather gets warmer my makeup routine gets more and more minimal. The less makeup I wear, the more you can see the impurities that are on my skin. This means that my skincare game needs to be on point! How do I do that? By making sure I'm pampering my skin with my weekly or daily face masks! My skin health is very important, especially as I age. Today I wanted to share with you three masks that are keeping my acne at bay, drying up any spots I might have, and also moisturizing my dry skin!

This year it seems that technology is everything. Mobile tech, wearable tech and now skincare tech! Neutrogena's Light Therapy Acne Mask is my newest skincare obsession. It has blue and red lights that targets bacteria and reduces any inflammation. Match made in heaven!

My second favorite mask is a good mud mask. Shea Moisture is one of my favorite skin and body care brands, and their clarifying mud mask is my favorite to use if my skin is feeling dull and irritated. I feel that it pulls all of my impurities out of my skin while also calming it because of the tea tree oil!

My last favorite mask is a paper sheet mask, which always gets giggles out of my roommates or boyfriend, ha! These new ones from Yes To are amazing. The coconut is super hydrating while not feeling overpowering. Not to mention, the masks don't fall off while I'm doing things such as laundry or chores, which makes it an A+ in my book!

Will you be trying out the new tech craze and bringing it into your skincare for gorgeous skin?!

Let me know in the comments how you're taking care of your skin this spring and what your favorite masks are!

You can pick all of my favorite masks + tons more at your local Meijer!

Thanks Meijer for sending over all these amazing masks! xo

The Perfect Spring Bag

Hi everyone! Today I'm back and sharing with you my newest obsession: this bag! I was on the hunt for a new bag for spring and I think that this one is perfect. I'm the type of gal who likes to carry everything (think phone charger, water bottle, 5 lipsticks, and an emergency mini bottle of wine). This bag holds everything and doesn't get too heavy! I love that it can be worn cross body or I can just hold it. I also just love supporting local companies, hola Cbus!, and Hazlmay has the cutest bags! You need this one, or any of their other super adorbs bags!

On another note, did anyone else get hit with this insane snow storm?! I'm actually on spring break this week so Tyler and I headed down to ATL to visit family and get away from the snow. You can bet I recreated this outfit in the spring weather, especially my black lace up flats with this super cute spring bag!

I have actually partnered with Hazlmay to give you guys a 20% off discount if you want to get yourself a new spring bag! The code is "ClassToCloset20"!

Hope you're having a great week,
xo Nicole

Pinterest Inspired Home Renovations Wish List

Anyone else finding themselves spending hours upon hours on Pinterest? In the winter when it's chilling temps outside, I definitely tend to stay inside watching Netflix and pinning away for my future. Today I'm sharing with you a few home renovations that I wish I could do. I absolutely love watching shows on HGTV when they flip houses and one day hope to be able to do that on my own. Your home is your personal space and it always feels much more cozy and relaxing when you can make these changes that are your own personal style.

The first thing thing I've been drooling over is Clawfoot bathtubs. I am a huge bath gal. I love taking baths with Epsom Salt for my sore muscles or a gorgeous Lush bath bomb when I want a little treat. These tubs are beautiful and I can definitely see myself relaxing in one with a nice glass of wine!

The next item I have been lusting over is sort of random but would be amazing, especially for when I have kids! I want an electric bathroom faucet. Like I said, a little random but I feel that the convenience would be amazing! I think this would be great to have, especially in the bathroom when kids have a hard time turning on the faucet when they are trying to brush their teeth or do every day tasks!

The last item kind of goes hand in hand with the other faucet, but in the master bathroom I would really like a single hole bathroom faucet. I feel like these are very ascetically pleasing, especially when you are doing a renovation! To me it's really about the little things that really make the place, especially the bathroom, feel put together!

Let me know in the comments what bathroom renovations you would do if you were able! And if you are in the market to do some renovations, be sure to check out Plumbtile for all your needs!
