Dark Places By Gillian Flynn

I absolutely love to read. As a child, I would read and read and read. Within the last five years I sort of quit and lost interest. However, I recently decided to buy a Kindle and I'm obsessed. I find myself reading a lot more and I how tech savvy my Kindle is! I've decided to start doing book reviews on my blog and today I'm going to be reviewing Gillian Flynn's Dark Places.

Dark Places is a novel that starts with a murder and almost ends in one too. Libby Day was only seven years old when her family was murdered in her own home. She managed to survive and her older brother, Ben, was framed for murdering their mother and two other sisters. Did he do it? Twenty five years later, when Libby is desperate for money, The Kill Club wants to question her for answers about that night. Their whole goal is to free Ben, but Libby wants answers for herself before she decides whose guilty and who isn't. Libby travels from state to state reconnecting with people from that night and from Ben's life. When she gets to her final destination, she finds herself running from yet another murder.

I really enjoyed this book and I hope you give it a go! Let me know in the comments what you're reading :)

  1. Oh wow, this book sounds so interesting! You have me wanting to head to Amazon & buy it for myself...if only I didn't have an entire shelf of books that need to be read first!

  2. I used to read so much when I was younger. Then I too sort of stopped, mainly because of law school and never having the time to read. I recently joined a book club (about 5 months ago) and now I am reading a lot again and I am so happy that I picked up this habit again.
