Fall Trends To Wear On Campus

Today I have a treat for you! Kendall from To The Nines is sharing with us some of her favorite fall trends that are perfect for any college girl! She's absolutely gorgeous and has amazing fashion tips over on her blog! Make sure you check her out, all of her links are going to be below!

For your basic college girl, there’s absolutely nothing better than fall: colorful leaves on campus, Pumpkin spice lattes, oversized sweaters. What could be better?  Among all the fall bliss, we have to face the reality that temperatures are dropping, and it’s time to get prepared. This is my ultimate campus survival guide to stay fashionable and sensible this season.

Hands down, a great pair of boots are a must. Whether they’re leather riding boots or colorful rain boots, you’ll be happy you have them. Here in Ohio, one day it’s raining and the next it’s a perfectly sunny day, so it’s essential to find a pair of boots that will make it through it all. I prefer a small heel to add a little bounce in my step, but I try to avoid the four inch stilettoes for walks to class.

Faux fur has been huge on the Fall 2014 runways. It’s a perfect trend to incorporate into your outfits this time of year. The fun thing about the fur trend is that it’s so versatile. Add a cozy fur vest, coat, or scarf to your look and you’ll be all set as a warm fashionista.
Another one of my favorite trends this season is leather. I’ll literally wear leather in any way possible! Skirts, jackets, pants, boots, you name it and I own it. One of the best things about this trend is that it can be taken from day to night. You can wear a fierce leather jacket with jeans to class then throw it over a cute little dress for a night out.

Lastly, a durable yet fashionable bag is a campus essential. The large size is great, because you can throw all your supplies for the whole day in one bag to avoid rushing back and forth to your dorm in between classes. I recommend one with a zipper or waterproof lining to keep everything safe during the rain and upcoming snow.
