4 Ways To Burn Belly Fat Faster On Your Next Run

Today I am back with anther fitness related post. I get a lot of questions / concerns on 'belly fat'. A lot of us want that super flat stomach and today I'm sharing with you a few easy transitions you could make to help burn belly fat on your regular runs!

Keep in mind, bikini bodies are built in the winter ;)

1. Change up your pace
Intervals are proven to actually reduce belly fat and speed up your metabolism (SCORE!). Instead of running a lot distance at the same place, push yourself to do interval training. You should alternate between pushing your body to the max and then let yourself recover at a slower speed. This is honestly the only way I can run on a treadmill. If I'm not doing intervals, I get too bored too quickly.

2. Treadmill + Plyo Box
Speaking of treadmill, this unique treadmill + plyo box move will help you burn that extra belly fat. Set up your treadmill at a speed of 1.0. Put the box about two feet behind the back of the treadmill. Place your feet on the box and your hands on the treadmill and be in a plank position. In the plank, move your hands as if they are walking on the treadmill. Keep your torso in a straight line and do not bend up. Do this for about a minute and make sure you're pulling your belly 'in' the whole time.

3. High Knees
High knees are such a great way to strengthen your core. If you're doing a lot of cardio, you need some strength in there too. Do one minute intervals of high knees when you're already on your run. You'll see a huge improvement!

4. Run a little longer
Just doing crunches won't really help your waste line as much as you want them to. However, if you lengthen your runs, this will help decrees all body fat. The more calories you burn, the more fat you'll be loosing. Keeping moving with the end result in mind!

Let me know in the comments if you have any ideas on how to burn belly fat fast!!
