Jersey Pullover: Marley Lilly  c/o
Vest: Gap
Riding Pants: Meijer
Boots: L.L. Bean
Necklace: BaubleBar

I don't know about where you live, but it has already started snowing here in Ohio. It's so crazy to think about how it's already near the end of November and holiday season is in full swing! I just love this time of year. Everyone seems to be so happy and I hear Christmas music in all of the stores!!

This outfit is perfect for any snow, or lazy, day you might be having! I just adore this pull over. First it's monogramed. Second, it's a gorgeous green! It is the most comfortable thing in my whole closet! I find myself reaching for it whenever I'm going to class as well as when I'm just lounging around the house! I am already starting my Christmas list and adding like 2 more of these!!

Actually speaking of Christmas lists I think I'm going to add this and this from Marley Lilly as well! I recently found this company and I'm obsessed. I think my favorite thing about them, is that when you log in you can view all of their products with your own monogram! It's such a unique feature. As you know, I love everything monograms and they have everything you can imagine! Definitely check them out for your holiday shopping this year!!

I hope you're having a great week. Mine as been so busy; but the busier the better!

4 Ways To Burn Belly Fat Faster On Your Next Run

Today I am back with anther fitness related post. I get a lot of questions / concerns on 'belly fat'. A lot of us want that super flat stomach and today I'm sharing with you a few easy transitions you could make to help burn belly fat on your regular runs!

Keep in mind, bikini bodies are built in the winter ;)

1. Change up your pace
Intervals are proven to actually reduce belly fat and speed up your metabolism (SCORE!). Instead of running a lot distance at the same place, push yourself to do interval training. You should alternate between pushing your body to the max and then let yourself recover at a slower speed. This is honestly the only way I can run on a treadmill. If I'm not doing intervals, I get too bored too quickly.

2. Treadmill + Plyo Box
Speaking of treadmill, this unique treadmill + plyo box move will help you burn that extra belly fat. Set up your treadmill at a speed of 1.0. Put the box about two feet behind the back of the treadmill. Place your feet on the box and your hands on the treadmill and be in a plank position. In the plank, move your hands as if they are walking on the treadmill. Keep your torso in a straight line and do not bend up. Do this for about a minute and make sure you're pulling your belly 'in' the whole time.

3. High Knees
High knees are such a great way to strengthen your core. If you're doing a lot of cardio, you need some strength in there too. Do one minute intervals of high knees when you're already on your run. You'll see a huge improvement!

4. Run a little longer
Just doing crunches won't really help your waste line as much as you want them to. However, if you lengthen your runs, this will help decrees all body fat. The more calories you burn, the more fat you'll be loosing. Keeping moving with the end result in mind!

Let me know in the comments if you have any ideas on how to burn belly fat fast!!

Sunglasses: Lauren Conrad Kohls

Y'all. Y'all!! I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SPIRIT JERSEY. I know I've talked about how much I adore spirit jerseys on my blog before. But this one... this one has my blog name on it ( & in gold glitter!!) and I just can't get over it! Olive and Pine makes custom spirit jerseys and I think this would be the perfect Christmas gift for any monogram loving gal! I have gotten so much use out of this thing and it still looks perfect! Today I threw it on with leggings and bean boots, but I've also worn it with my Hunters and even ballet flats. I feel that the gold glitter dresses it up and I just can't get over how cute it is! You need one of these in your life! You can put anything you want on it from your last name to your favorite football team. You can also have a front monogram as well as choose all of the coloring. Fall Trends To Wear On Campus

Today I have a treat for you! Kendall from To The Nines is sharing with us some of her favorite fall trends that are perfect for any college girl! She's absolutely gorgeous and has amazing fashion tips over on her blog! Make sure you check her out, all of her links are going to be below!

For your basic college girl, there’s absolutely nothing better than fall: colorful leaves on campus, Pumpkin spice lattes, oversized sweaters. What could be better?  Among all the fall bliss, we have to face the reality that temperatures are dropping, and it’s time to get prepared. This is my ultimate campus survival guide to stay fashionable and sensible this season.

Hands down, a great pair of boots are a must. Whether they’re leather riding boots or colorful rain boots, you’ll be happy you have them. Here in Ohio, one day it’s raining and the next it’s a perfectly sunny day, so it’s essential to find a pair of boots that will make it through it all. I prefer a small heel to add a little bounce in my step, but I try to avoid the four inch stilettoes for walks to class.

Faux fur has been huge on the Fall 2014 runways. It’s a perfect trend to incorporate into your outfits this time of year. The fun thing about the fur trend is that it’s so versatile. Add a cozy fur vest, coat, or scarf to your look and you’ll be all set as a warm fashionista.
Another one of my favorite trends this season is leather. I’ll literally wear leather in any way possible! Skirts, jackets, pants, boots, you name it and I own it. One of the best things about this trend is that it can be taken from day to night. You can wear a fierce leather jacket with jeans to class then throw it over a cute little dress for a night out.

Lastly, a durable yet fashionable bag is a campus essential. The large size is great, because you can throw all your supplies for the whole day in one bag to avoid rushing back and forth to your dorm in between classes. I recommend one with a zipper or waterproof lining to keep everything safe during the rain and upcoming snow.

5 Must Have Winter Accessories

Today I thought we could talk about five splurge worthy winter accessories that are worth the money. I have snow in this weeks forecast and figured a few of you might too! I live in a climate that can be very harsh and cold at times. I think the snow is absolutely beautiful, but the cold- not so much. Walking around my college campus without the proper attire is just miserable.

Winter Accessories

1. Good Winter Coat
Nothing is worse then not having a great winter coat when it's in the negatives outside! I love wearing layers and layers under mine and staying cozy and warm.

2. Blanket Scarf
I know these are all the trend right now, but for a very good reason. I absolutely adore mine and I know I will get SO much use out of it this winter. Not only is it super chic and go with any outfit, but it is actually warm. To be it's a win win!

3. Warm Gloves
Last winter, I kinda stole Tyler's North Face gloves and I just love them. I hate when I forget my gloves and my fingers feel as if they are about to fall off!

4. Knit Headband
When I was younger, every winter I would get an ear infection. My parents made me wear ugly, heavy hats to help my ears from getting cold. As I got older, there was no way I was wearing something like that. That's when I discovered this adorbs headbands. I will admit that if my hair looks extra good, there's no way one of those are going on my head!

5. Bean Boots
I guess you don't NEED these specific boots, but I'm obsessed with mine. I got them for my birthday this year and I cannot wait to start wearing them in the snow!!

Let me know what your favorite winter accessories are in the comments below!

Nicole Reads: The Husband's Secret

I just turned the last page to "The Husband's Secret" and all I have to say is wow. I really enjoyed this book. There was a bit of mystery, a bit of romance, and a whole lot of family in this book and I really enjoyed it. I'm not the best at giving reviews without any spoilers, but I'll give you a short and sweet review of why you need to get this book ASAP.

Your husband has written you a letter that you are not suppose to read until he is long dead. Well, you found it while he's on a business trip out of town. You read it right? I know I would. This letter has a very, very dark secret about something he did in his past. Something that could change his, yours, and many other people's lives. This is what happened to Cecilia Fitzpatrick. She is living a perfect life, with three perfect daughters, a perfect husband, and a perfect company. She also has an amazing social life and basically everyone in town envies her. There are also two other main women in this story, Rachel and Tess. Their lives will also be forever changed once Cecilias' husband's secret is out. Rachel has a daughter that was killed 20 some years ago and no one knows how or why. Tess has a husband, that loves someone else, and a son she will do anything for. So do you read the letter, or wait until he dies?

I really recommend this book if you're looking for something new and lighthearted to read!
Tell me in the comments what book you're currently reading!

October Instagrams!

I don't know about you, but I feel like October flew by! I'm honestly so excited though because November means HOLIDAY SEASON!! This is my absolute favorite time of the year!
Today I figured I would share with you a few of my favorite snapshots from my insta this month!

Fall is absolutely gorgeous in Ohio. The trees change and the skies are so blue! I absolutely adore it.

I recently bought this Blog Planner from heartandarrowdesign. I'm absolutely in love with it. I ADORE planners and being able to check things off before I go to sleep. This blog planner is my new addiction!

I've been student teaching two days a week and loving it. I started posting a few of my outfits this month. I love being able to "dress up" when I head into a classroom!

There's not many things I love more then a good cup of coffee and an even better book. I read this book back in '11 but I wanted to re-read it this month before I saw the movie!

Here's another one of my #teacher outfit of the days! I love pulling different pieces from my closet and dressing them up a bit! I also just adore the leaves on the ground in the pictures!

Happy Monday!
xx Nicole
