5 Easy Changes To Help You Loose Some Extra Weight

I don't care if you have 5 more pounds to loose or 15 more to get down to your goal weight. Today we are going to be talking about 5 easy changes you can make in your every day life to help you loose that extra weight!

1. Swap Out Beverages For Water. I believe water is basically GOLD. It does so many good things for our bodies. Everything from detox our systems, clear up our skin, hydrate our cells, and so much more. If you swap out those sugary drinks for water you are really going to see an impact! I don't see anything wrong with a PSL and diet coke here and there, but for the most part you should be drinking water!

2. Eat a Big Salad For Lunch. The veggies in the salad are going to be low in calories, meaning you can eat a lot of them! You can eat a huge bowl of salad without feeling guilty. They are also fullll of fiber which will fill you up for longer. Be mindful of the ingredients you're using and you'll be on the right track!

3. Do (at least) a 10 Minute Workout Each Day. This is mainly for people who aren't really big into working out. If you push yourself to workout for only 10 minutes, you'll survive and feel SO good about yourself! The worst part is getting started, but once you do it, it'll almost be over ;)

4. Keep Pre Cut Fruits & Veggies In The Fridge. If they are already cut and ready to be eaten, you'll grab them. However, if you're in a rush out the door or trying to study, you won't have time to cut the watermelon. If it's already cut you'll most likely grab it over something else!

5. Use Smaller Plates & Bowls. When we make up our plate, we feel the need to fill it completely. There is no need for that. If you have a smaller plate, you can still fill it but it'll make sure you don't over eat!

Try one or two of these tips this weekend and tell me how it goes!!

  3. I agree with each and very one of these. Following you on GFC

  4. I'm happy to say that almost all of the time I follow rule #1! As for #2, I usually save the salad for dinner time, because it's best to eat a big breakfast, a slightly smaller lunch, and then a slightly smaller dinner (right? idk, maybe that's just a myth, but that's what I'm going by at the moment)--I'm also worried that a salad won't fill me and then I'll end up snacking, and I usually make bad snacking decisions :P although #4 would solve that problem! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
