Navy & Orange

Shirt: The Gap
Shorts: Meijer
Flip Flops: Abercrombie
Watch: Meijer
Necklace: Pandora
Backpack: Under Armor

Another day another boring outfit. That has been the definition of my life. College to me is sitting in 3 hour long classes, therefore I want to be comfortable since it's so hot outside! Today I felt casual yet put together in this outfit. I am in love with this striped shirt I got from The Gap. Stripes are always my thing but this one is a little bit different. It's unique because of the pop of color on the sleeves! Who doesn't love navy paired with basically everything?!

Until Tomorrow,

First Day Back To College!

Shirt: Old Navy
Shorts: JCPennys
Shoes: Sperrys
Watch: Michael Kors
Bracelet: BaubleBar
Necklace LC Lauren Conrad
Purse: Rebecca Minkoff Cupid

Well I survived my first day back at school! It was hot as heck so yet again I just threw on a pair of shorts and a tee shirt! I'm so ready for fall and cooler days!

Side note I've literally been doing homework for the past 3 hours and it was only the first day back.. sigh. It's definitely going to be a long semester!

Stripes and Pumpkin Spice

Top: Forever 21
Shorts: JCPennys
Purse: Michael Kors Kempton
Sandals: Target
Sunglasses: LC Lauren Conrad

Today was my last day of summer vacation and what do I do? Get a pumpkin spice latte of course ;). Today my boyfriend Tyler and I did a little shopping and enjoyed a nice lunch together. I think those are my favorite kind of days. Days where we just talk and walk and enjoy each others company. The 90 degree weather meant another day of my hair being up and just throwing on a simple outfit. Of course when it's time for everyone to go back to school the weather decides to warm up.

Reflecting back, I had a great summer. I worked A LOT and saved up money, I traveled to Canada and Chicago, and I got to spend a lot of time with friends and family. However, I'm definitely ready to get back into the swing of things!!

Thanks for stoping by!

Casual Maxi

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Top: Kohls
Skirt: Meijer
Sandals: Abercrombie
Purse: Michael Kors 'Kempton'
Bracelets: BaubleBar
Sunglasses: LC Lauren Conrad
Lipstick: MAC Toying Around

Here's to the last few days of my summer vacation. It's INSANE that I'm starting my JUNIOR YEAR of college. Insane. I feel like just yesterday I was in starting my first year of college.. or even still in high school. I'm glad to be so far ahead in my college career (even though my bachelors is going to take me 5 years…) and so much closer to becoming a teacher.

I love this easy type of outfit for day to day wear. The white tee is classic and pairing it with a maxi skirt says "I tried to look good" even though it took .2 seconds to get ready. That's what I'm all about when it comes to a day full of running errands. I wanted the look to be relaxed yet put together. I think a long maxi with a plain tee and flip flops is perfect for a casual day full of errands! Not to mention the bold lipstick to make it look like I realllyyyy tried.

I hope you're doing well and enjoyed today's look.

5 Things You Didn't Know About Honey

You have a jar of honey sitting in your cabinet, right? Well there's so much more honey can do other then sweeten up your tea or toast! Today we're going to talk about 5 of the great things honey can do to help you in your every day life.

1. Energize your workouts. Skip the sports drinks and use honey instead. Honey will give you an energy boost during your intense workouts. Honey can be used as a carbohydrate replacement during your workouts.

2. Keep your skin healthy. Instead of using a harsh face cleanser that is full of chemicals, use organic honey! A jar has SO many antimicrobial qualities that will keep your face clean and won't strip any of your oils or dry out your skin. If you don't want to make that much of a commitment, use it as a face scrub with a little bit of sugar mixed in! It will not only cleanse the skin, but help fight acne too! (the scrub is my favorite!)

3. Boost your insides. Honey is a great antioxidant that will boost your immunity. If you're already sick, an extra dose of honey can really help with sinus issues and coughs!

4. Help with digestion. Instead of taking any chalky tablets, try honey to help with digestion issues. It can also help with any acid reflux you're dealing with!

5. Treat cuts/burns. Honey can actually be used as a topical antibiotic. Everything from a burn to a scrape, apply a little bit of honey to the area and it should heal!

Do you have any favorite ways to use honey? Tell me in the comments below!

Saying Goodbye To Summer

Who would have guessed that I would actually be ready to say goodbye to summer? Honestly here in Ohio, I don't even feel like we've had a summer. I think I can count the 80 degree days on just one hand. Today the high was 70. I thought it was the perfect day to grab one of my favorite tops for fall and pair it with one of my favorite pairs of shorts for summer. I love the look of statement shorts and with this casual chambray top, the shorts really pop!

Thanks for stopping by, xo.
